Blessing the Boats
Sunday 8 June 2008 - All welcome
Lancing Beach Green at 2.30 pm
A short service with prayers for those whose work or leisure is on the sea, with the blessing of fishing boats and other craft.
The Boundstone Community College Band provides the music and gives an open air concert. There will be a display of kite surfing.
After the service, cream teas will be on sale at St Michael's Church Hall, South Street, Lancing. Take the path on the North side of the church.

Visit us
You are welcome to visit St Michael's Church. The church is usually open mornings and afternoons, Monday to Friday. Look for the "Church Open - Visitors Welcome" sign hanging from the main notice board (see picture).
You will be welcome also to come to the services. See the notice board or click on the link below for details of services throughout the week.
The Sunday services are at 8 am and 10 am. Someone will be there to greet you and make sure you have what you need to follow the service. You may sit where you like. The user-friendly service paper has everything to follow the service for that day.
After the service, you may come with us for coffee or tea in the Church Hall. All are welcome.
Wheelchair access is by way of the North path between the church and Gardner and Scardifield's housewares shop. See a picture.
